Whoa!!! Disaster. When one day you encounter this problem better check out this blog for answers. whenever this type of problem occurs there are two possible causes. Its either you accidentally deleted the file objectARX application or you / somebody tweaked the settings in AutoCAD "Options" command.
What I will show you is the solution to the problem of the tweaked "Options" command. I prefer this one because on the first cause you simply had to either copy the file or to reinstall AutoCAD.
First we check the problem encountered:
The command dialog box shows "Unknown command "CUI". Press F1 for help." message.
The solution:
1. Type "Options" on the command box.
2. When the "Options" menu opens up go to "Open and Save".
3. Now go to "ObjectARX Applications" then "Demand load ObjectARX apps".
4. Click the drop down arrow on the right.
5. Now, select "Object detect and command invoke".
6. Click "Apply" then "Enter.
