File menu - Save command

What is "Save" command:
Save is the process in which the data either created and/or modified is stored permanently or non-permanently into the memory of a device.

This post will teach new AutoCAD users the steps to save a file. Much like other application, saving a file is an easy step for which you can relate to. However, one must understand the value of basic learning to appreciate the complex.

1. Open 'File" from the menu bar















2. If you just modified your data, it will automatically save your file, but, on first save, a window will pop-up.
Here you will enter the path/directory from where you want to save the file. You enter the filename and hit enter. The data will be saved.
